Job Summary
Manage video quality assurance and troubleshooting for high-volume digital content workflows using British Sign Language. Diagnose technical playback issues, identify trends, and propose solutions for audio and video systems within the Opal Platform. Ensure culturally aligned and compliant multilingual content delivery for global enterprises while maintaining strict ISO certification standards. This contract role spans 12 months with a possible extension, requiring 40 hours per week between Tuesday and Saturday or Sunday and Thursday. The position is based in the UK with a salary of £31,850/year. Candidates must have valid UK work authorization without sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- British Sign Language
- Passion for digital video and knowledge of the film and TV industry
- Possess a thorough working knowledge of common technical issues found in digital video and audio
- Willingness to work in a high-volume, fast paced, and changing environment
- 2-4 years of experience working with digital video
- Ability to take initiative and troubleshoot video/system playback issues and identify trends to propose short and long-term solutions
- Track record of responding quickly and decisively to issues
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of subscription video content services and familiarity of their product offerings
- Intermediate to advanced spreadsheet knowledge
- Valid work authorization for the UK with no need for sponsorship
- Professional/advanced proficiency in any other language
