Job Summary
Coordinate hearings and provide procedural guidance to appellants, Tribunal Members, ministry representatives, and other stakeholders throughout the appeal process. Manage appeals efficiently and within legislated timelines while responding to enquiries and interpreting general policies and procedures for the public, clients, and professionals both orally and in writing. Utilize the CaseLoad case management system and standard office software to support this work. This temporary opportunity is available until October 31, 2027, and may become permanent.
Required Qualifications
- Secondary school graduation or equivalent
- Four (4) years administrative experience
- Experience responding to enquiries and providing advice and interpretation of general policies and procedures to the public, clients and professionals both orally and in writing in a time sensitive environment
- Experience with computer software programs including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience with a case management system
- A Criminal Record Check (CRC)
- Employees of the BC Public Service must be located in BC at the time of employment
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year of experience working with the CaseLoad case management system
- Experience in a quasi-judicial board or agency working with administrative fairness concepts and experience scheduling multi-parties for events, hearings or meetings
