Job Summary
Respond to inbound telephone inquiries in a Claims Contact Center, initiating auto and homeowner claims by obtaining preliminary loss information from agents, insureds, and third parties. Guide customers through the claims process, provide explanations of procedures, and authorize services such as roadside assistance and rental cars. Maintain accurate documentation of all interactions in the claim file while navigating multiple systems and windows simultaneously. This fully remote position offers shift options with paid training from Monday to Friday, 8:00AM-4:30PM Central Time. Applicants residing within 50 miles of Caledonia, MI, Kansas City, KS, or Oklahoma City, OK are preferred for future promotions, though Florida residents are considered regardless of distance.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, with fluency in both written and spoken communication
- Typing speed of at least 30 WPM with 90% accuracy
- Technically proficient, with the ability to navigate multiple systems and windows simultaneously
- A dedicated workspace, including a desk and chair, free of noise and distractions, and a stable high-speed internet connection
- Ability to operate a computer for extended periods of time, up to a full work shift
- Physical dexterity sufficient to use hands, arms, and shoulders repetitively to operate keyboard and other office equipment up to a full work shift
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time, up to a full work shift
- Occasionally reaches overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
- Occasionally moves, lifts, carries, and places objects and supplies weighing 0-10 pounds without assistance
- Listens to, interprets, and differentiates auditory information (e.g. others speaking) at normal speaking levels with or without correction
- Visually verifies and reads information
- Visually locates material, resources and other objects
- Ability to effectively lead and coach others
