Job Summary
Facilitate life skills, parenting, prenatal, nutrition, health, safety, leisure, housing, breastfeeding, and labour and delivery topics in group or individual settings. Promote Brighter Futures agency services and programs to participants and the general public. Requires bilingualism (English/French), a Social Service Worker diploma or Human Services post-secondary education with two years of family and child experience, and knowledge of child development, neglect, and child abuse reporting. Candidates must hold a G2 driver's license at application or possess a valid G Class license with vehicle access. Submit resume and cover letter to humanresources@neofacs.org by September 2, 2026, with an hourly range of $27.16 – $31.51.
Required Qualifications
- Social Service Worker diploma or post-secondary education in the Human Services discipline
- Two years related experience working with families and children
- Knowledge of child development, neglect and child abuse along with the duty to report
- Knowledge of parenting issues, lifestyles, and prevention and intervention techniques
- Excellent group facilitation skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Bilingualism (English/French)
- Minimum G2 driver's license at the time of application
- Willingness to obtain a valid G Class driver's license as a condition of employment
- Valid G Class driver's license (if already possessed)
- Access to their own vehicle
