Job Summary
Oversee the scope, schedule, budget, and delivery of major bridge and highway structures projects from inception to close-out. Lead interdisciplinary teams of engineers and professionals to deliver high-quality results while acting as the primary liaison with clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies. Prepare written reports and presentations for stakeholders, develop project execution and health and safety plans, and monitor progress to address cost overruns or delays. This full-time role requires a Professional Engineer (PE) license and 15+ years of experience in engineering design and project management for bridge and structures projects. Candidates must be located in the Boston, MA or Hartford, CT geographical areas.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- 15+ years of experience in engineering design and project management for bridge and structures projects
- Comprehensive knowledge of industry standards and familiarity with Federal and State-funded bridge projects
- Proven ability to manage projects, interface with clients, and contribute technically to project designs
- Exceptional communication, analytical, and organizational skills
- Located in the Boston, MA or Hartford, CT geographical areas
