Job Summary
Lead the design of bridges and structures for roadways, highways, and transit systems across Massachusetts and the New England region. Independently develop engineering deliverables including detailed calculations, drawings, procurement documents, design packages, and technical reports. Perform complex structural analyses to ensure project success and provide technical guidance to CAD Designers and junior engineers. Supervise and mentor junior engineers while driving continuous improvement through innovative approaches to engineering challenges. This role supports Parsons' Critical Infrastructure team, contributing to landmark projects that enhance mobility and community resiliency.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of bridge/structural engineering and design work experience
- BS in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Proficiency in industry-standard bridge design and analysis software
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or Microstation
Desired Qualifications
- MS in Structural Engineering
- PE license
- Familiarity with Open Bridge Modeling
- Working knowledge of state Bridge Design & Construction Manuals
- Strong organizational, planning, and emotional intelligence skills
