Job Summary
Perform structural analysis and design for bridges and other transportation structures, preparing design reports, calculations, and technical documentation. Use CAD software to develop engineering drawings and plans while conducting field bridge inspections. Collaborate with senior engineers and project managers on various projects. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with 3-6 years of experience and proficiency in AutoCAD or MicroStation. Salary range is $90,000 to $105,000. Based in Warwick, RI; East Hartford, CT, or Norwood, MA offices.
Required Qualifications
- degree in civil or structural engineering
- 3-6 years of experience in bridge design and/or bridge inspection
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
Desired Qualifications
- EIT certification preferred
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation preferred
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills
- Previous experience with Departments of Transportation, public works agencies, or transportation design consultants are a plus
