Job Summary
Prepare Bridge Inspection and Load Rating Reports, implement QA/QC processes to maintain project quality, and collaborate with junior engineers on design and construction services. Review field data, design reports, and project evaluations while prioritizing work programs in compliance with NJDOT, County, and FHWA specifications. Utilize AutoCAD, MicroStation, and load rating software such as LARS, AASHTOWARE, and BXLRFD to deliver technical excellence on evaluation projects throughout New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Requires a Civil Engineering degree, PE license, and 10 years of NBIS experience. Full-time role in Princeton, NJ.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Up to date NHI 130055, 130053, 130078 & 130092 Certification
- Prior Experience with NBIS Bridge Inspection and Load Ratings in the Tristate Area
- Good communication skills
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and MicroStation
- Experience in Load Rating Software: LARS, AASHTOWARE, BXLRFD
- Capable of collaborating with a team of junior engineers
- Familiarity with Bridge Inspection and Load Rating manuals such as AASHTO Bridge Inspection reference manual, Manual Bridge Evaluation, NJDOT Bridge Design Manual and FHWA SNBI Specification
- Minimum of 10 years of experience involving NBIS Bridge Inspection and Load Ratings
Desired Qualifications
- PE license in the state of NJ or NY
- Familiarity with STAAD and CANDE
