Job Summary
Lead field inspections of bridges, tunnels, and ancillary structures using visual access, non-destructive testing, and mechanized equipment to protect public safety. Prepare written reports on structural conditions, coordinate with owners and agencies on schedules and traffic control, and perform post-incident assessments to determine damage severity and closure recommendations. Manage team performance through coaching, training, and direct supervision while balancing office work to deliver client reports. Requires NHI Team Leader qualification and field access skills.
Required Qualifications
- Ability and experience to lead the work of others
- Possess knowledge of bridge inspection methods and procedures
- Experience with report procedures
- Any experience with National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS) as a bridge inspection assistant and be Team Leader qualified with NHI
- Must be able to perform inspections in the field with various means of access

Desired Qualifications
- ADCI Diver certification or SPRAT level 1 or higher
