Job Summary
Complete hands-on bridge engineering duties to build essential skills distinct from academic training. Perform assigned tasks within the bridge group in Minneapolis, MN to gain a broad, well-rounded learning experience. Begin in Summer 2027 for candidates currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering with at least one year of study completed. Familiarity with AutoCAD or Bentley MicroStation is preferred. This internship supports the transition from student to professional within AECOM's global infrastructure team.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Must have completed at least one year of study
- Candidates who have recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree and plan to continue with the Master's degree
- Recent graduates must have been enrolled in their bachelor's degree in the most previous school term
- Interest in pursuing an advanced degree in the same or similar discipline at the conclusion of the internship
- Must attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with the basics of engineering
- Familiarity with engineering software such as AutoCAD and/or Bentley MicroStation
- Strong communication skills
