Perform basic design of bridge and structural projects, supporting the production of construction plans and documents. Complete quantity take-offs and cost estimating while coordinating with internal disciplines, project managers, and external clients to ensure task completion. Utilize AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroStation to deliver accurate engineering solutions. Collaborate with senior staff and peers to solve complex problems and maintain high attention to detail. This role offers hourly earnings of $70,000-$85,000+ and requires a Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Required Qualifications
- Strong work ethic
- Understanding of engineering principles
- Experience in CADD utilizing AutoCAD, Civil 3D and MicroStation
- Proven teamwork
- Problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite products including Word and Excel
- Good intrapersonal skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to effectively communicate thoughts and ideas to peers, senior staff, and clients
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related curriculum from an ABET accredited school
- Engineering Intern Certification
- 0-2 years' experience in civil design focused on Bridge/Structures
- Ability to effectively work with other engineers and technicians
