Bridge Engineer

Job Summary
Perform bridge design, load rating, rehabilitation, widening, and replacement projects while overseeing engineering calculations, plans, specifications, and cost estimates. Ensure compliance with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications, NDOT requirements, and applicable codes. Coordinate project schedules, budgets, and multidisciplinary teams; review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and approve engineering work products for quality and constructability. Design structures including retaining walls, flood control systems, and water reservoirs. This role requires on-site work in Las Vegas, NV, with a Nevada Professional Engineer license or ability to acquire one within six months. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's of Science degree in Civil engineering
- Minimum four (4) years of experience in bridge design
- Nevada Professional Engineer license
- Valid driver's license
- Authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship now or in the future
- Ability to work on-site in Las Vegas, NV
Desired Qualifications
- Master's of Science degree in an appropriate engineering discipline
