Job Summary
Bridge Design Engineer leading engineering projects from design through construction for state, county, and federal bridge projects. Roles include planning, development, and management of bridge design projects; ensuring technical excellence and compliance with AASHTO, NJDOT, and PennDOT design manuals; coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to produce technical reports, construction drawings, and specifications; maintaining knowledge of bridge design techniques, materials, and software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, LEAP Bridge, STAAD); performing engineering calculations, creating construction plans and estimates; enforcing QA/QC procedures; reviewing work of engineers and drafters; interacting with clients and supervising subconsultants; supporting new business development and project proposals; monitoring schedules and budgets to ensure timely delivery and cost control.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors of Science Degree in Civil Engineering
- EIT License Required
- PE License Preferred
