Job Summary
Bridge CADD Technician responsible for preparing accurate engineering drawings for bridge and transportation projects using Microstation, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D; collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to resolve design issues, apply drafting standards, and ensure coordination across plan sets while supporting MnDOT-related bridge/transportation work in Minneapolis; requires 3+ years of CADD experience, a high school diploma or equivalent (with preferred two-year technical degree), and proficiency in Microstation Connect Edition and Office 365; hybrid work arrangement indicated.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or certification course
- 3+ years of CADD design experience with a focus on transportation engineering and bridge detailing
- Proficiency with Connect Edition of Microstation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
- Comprehensive understanding of drafting standards, CADD techniques, mathematics, and engineering principles
- Two-year technical degree
- Experience with MnDOT bridge and/or transportation projects
