Job Summary
Bridge CAD Technician at Olsson contributing to transportation and infrastructure projects through CAD drafting and design. Responsibilities include supporting bridge planning and design, producing 2D construction plans and 3D bridge models using AutoCAD and MicroStation Open Bridge Designer, assisting with research and technical documentation, and participating in field visits as needed. The role offers opportunities to grow with increasing responsibility, collaborate with engineers and designers, and align with evolving MALD workflows. Requirements emphasize an associate degree (or related experience) and familiarity with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation, with progression from routine drafting to more complex design support as experience grows. Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in a related field or related experience preferred
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation Open Bridge Designer; training may be provided based on experience level
- Experience level from entry-level to experienced CAD technicians
