Job Summary
Bridge Technician responsible for maintenance of bridge projects across the United States; perform heavy highway equipment operations, concrete spill repair, railing and joint repairs, cleaning and painting steel, and use equipment to grade ditches, drainage structures, road shoulders, and slopes; perform emergency response and general bridge maintenance tasks; must follow safety procedures and complete Advanced MOT training; requires high school diploma or equivalent, CDL preferred, 21+ years old, roadway experience, clean driving record, ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly, and ability to obtain ATSSA traffic-control certification; boating experience preferred; location: Bartow, FL (on-site).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Class A or B CDL preferred
- Must be at least 21 years old
- At least one year of experience on the roadway
- Valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of clean driving
- Must be able to drag 50lbs for 150 feet
- Must be able to lift 50lbs repeatedly
- Must be able to drive standard shift vehicles
- Ability to obtain ATSSA certification in installation of traffic control
- Bridge maintenance, highway maintenance or construction skills preferred
- Boating experience preferred
