Job Summary
Operate heavy highway equipment for bridge maintenance projects, including concrete spill repair, railing and joint repairs, and steel cleaning. Utilize machinery to clean ditches, drainage structures, and road shoulders while performing fence repairs, sign maintenance, and emergency response tasks. Maintain safety standards by using all equipment correctly and obtaining Advanced MOT training. Shift runs Monday through Thursday from 6am to 4:30pm, with availability for nights and weekends. Candidates must possess a Class A or B CDL, valid driver's license, and at least one year of roadway experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 21 years of age
- At least one year of experience on the roadway
- Valid driver's license with at least 3 years of clean driving
- Ability to drag 50lbs for 150 feet
- Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly
- Ability to drive standard shift vehicles
- Ability to obtain ATSSA certification in the installation of traffic control
- Must be available to work nights and weekends as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Class A or B cdl
- Bridge maintenance, highway maintenance or construction skills
- Boating experience
