Job Summary
Converse with customers to confirm drink orders and key them into the point of sale system, then collect payments and count back change accurately. Prepare all drinks and premixes while maintaining a safe, healthy environment by following sanitation regulations and organizational standards. Move with urgency, stay proactive during slow periods, and pitch in to help the team. Make personal connections through genuine interactions, warm smiles, and positive body language. Act as a drink recipe ninja by knowing the menu inside and out, identifying customer needs, and offering appropriate suggestions. This role requires working on feet for hours, lifting up to 50lbs, climbing ladders, and operating safely in drive-thru lines and various weather conditions. You will execute shift change duties, checklists, and weekly chores while maintaining awareness of overall operations. Assertively address operational or cultural issues and adapt solutions during stressful situations.
Required Qualifications
- Converse with customers to confirm their drink orders
- Correctly key in orders to our point of sale system
- Collect payments for orders
- Correctly count back any change to the customer
- Prepare all drinks and premixes
- Know our menu and drink offerings inside and out
- Notice if a customer may not be ordering what they truly want
- Help the customer identify and correctly order their desired drink
- Offer suggestions and recommendations when appropriate
- Good hygiene
- Plenty of sleep
- Clean clothes
- Kept hair/makeup
- Dress appropriately for their assigned position
- Familiar with our shift change duties, checklists, and weekly chores
- Execute any of them when needed
- Clocked in and ready to work at their assigned position when your shift time begins
- Treat teammates and customers with respect and kindness
- Follow organizational standards and sanitation regulations
- Create and maintain genuine, uplifting interactions
- Work carefully and quickly with hot water and coffee, glass bottles, and dairy products
- Work outside for prolonged periods, regardless of weather conditions
- Lift up to 50lbs
- Work on their feet for hours at a time
- Climb a ladder and use a stepladder
- Stand, sit, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as necessary to stock and clean in the stand
- Safely walk in between and around cars in the drive-thru line
- Safely use a utility knife
- Quickly and cleanly operate any position in the stand during peak hours
- Maintain awareness of the shift's operations while working a position
- Assertively and graciously confront their team to address operational, procedural, or cultural issues
- Adapt to problems and implement solutions during stressful situations
- Works a flexible schedule, which can include early mornings (5 a.m.) and late nights (11:30 p.m.)
- Regularly work weekends
- Available to work holidays, if necessary
