Job Summary
Brewista role in a coffee-shop environment focused on delivering joyful customer experiences: taking and confirming drink orders, handling payments, preparing drinks and premixes, maintaining cleanliness and organization, stocking, and providing excellent service. The Brewista must know the menu thoroughly, engage positively with customers, and stay productive and timely across shifts. This role requires physical stamina for standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, working outdoors when needed, and operating safely in a drive-thru setting. Schedule flexibility with weekends and holidays; employment types include both Full-time and Part-time. Benefits include a flexible schedule and a coffee-shop working environment.
Required Qualifications
- Can create and maintain genuine, uplifting interactions with strangers for up to five minutes at a time.
- Can work carefully and quickly with hot water and coffee, glass bottles, and dairy products.
- Can work outside for prolonged periods, regardless of weather conditions.
- Can lift up to 50 lbs.
- Can stand comfortably for hours at a time.
- Can climb a ladder and use a stepladder.
- Can stand, sit, bend, kneel, twist, and squat as necessary to stock and clean in the stand.
- Can safely walk in between and around cars in the drive-thru line.
- Can safely use a utility knife.
