Brewery Packaging Operator I

Job Summary
Perform packaging operations at canning and kegging lines, learning to operate all machinery while loading and unloading materials and finished products. Assist with packaging line start-ups, troubleshoot equipment problems to reduce downtime, and maintain a safe, clean working environment by keeping work areas organized. Clean and maintain machinery while meeting GMP standards, acknowledging that the role involves working with chemicals. Lift 75-100 pounds and crouch, bend, and stand for extended periods in a warehouse environment. This role supports Uinta Brewing Company's expansion plans within its beverage production department.
Required Qualifications
- Applicant must be 21 or over to apply
- Mechanical aptitude required
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently to package quality beer according to Uinta's standards and procedures, including quality and quantity requirements
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Self-motivated while also willing to ask questions and seek direction
- Support new ideas and help implement them
- Ability to lift up 75-100 pounds
- Ability to crouch, bend, twist and stand for extended periods of time in a warehouse environment
- Organization skills including attention to detail
- Simple math and ability to complete forms and write instructions
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety standards

Desired Qualifications
- Previous packaging experience preferred
- Forklift operating experience a plus
