Job Summary
Brewer Trainee gains hands-on experience in the brewery by learning brewing techniques from the brew team, observing and applying safety procedures, and developing knowledge of the full brewing process from raw materials to packaging and testing final product. The role supports the brewery, cellar, and packaging departments, records production data, monitors sample quality and water temperature, and helps improve productivity and efficiency under supervision of the Head Brewer and Brewmaster. It emphasizes attention to detail, strong communication, teamwork, and a foundational understanding of brewing chemistry and physics to contribute to quality standards and process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Must be 21-years of age
- Flexible availability
- A passion for brewing beer
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team
- A good working knowledge of technological development within the brewing industry
