Job Summary
The Brewer/Cellar Operator is responsible for executing day-to-day brewing and cellar functions, including wort production, fermentation management, filtration, yeast handling, tank CIP, and general facility upkeep. The role requires strong technical skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced production environment. Key responsibilities include performing cellar operations such as sanitizing tanks, operating filtration equipment, and ensuring product quality standards. The position demands a candidate who can multitask, adapt to varying shifts, and maintain rigorous safety and cleanliness standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in brewing or beverage manufacturing
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work around moving machinery and complex systems
- Ability to multitask, prioritize changing demands, and maintain strong attention to detail
- Flexibility to work varied shifts as needed
- Proper use and understanding of PPE
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. to shoulder height, stand for extended periods, work in tight spaces, climb stairs, and tolerate varying temperatures
