Job Summary
Perform personal care activities assisting patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, ambulation, transfers, dressing, and meal preparation. Accompany patients on errands or medical appointments while performing light housekeeping tasks. Provide patient-specific activities such as hospice supportive care, medication reminders, range of motion exercises, and incontinence care. Utilize lifting equipment like gait belts and Hoyer lifts for bed-bound patients. Weekend shift differentials and weekly pay are available for this role.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to perform personal care activities that assist the patient with activities of daily living
- Ability to perform light housekeeping activities
- Ability to provide hospice supportive care
- Ability to provide medication reminders
- Ability to assist with prescribed range of motion exercises
- Ability to care for bed-bound patients
- Ability to use lifting equipment such as gait belts and Hoyer lifts
- Experience with Hoyer lift
