Job Summary
Meet with small groups of students daily to provide research-based literacy interventions for at least half the school day. Collaborate with principals, instructional coaches, and interventionists to implement these programs. Compile information and maintain records related to Title I literacy, compliance, family engagement, and Pre-K requirements. Assist in Pre-K classrooms to cover lunch breaks and staff absences, ensuring CPR certification and background checks are current. Support the Unit Head with clerical duties and family engagement activities designed to build parental capacity. This role requires a high school graduate with one year of clerical or school experience; a college degree is preferred.
Required Qualifications

- one year of general clerical or school experience

- strong oral and written communication skills
- Drug screen
- Two years of college experience from an accredited college
- A two-year college degree from an accredited college
- Passed the Para-Pro Assessment
- One year or 1,000 hours of previous employment in a school or working with children
- Completed 48 credit hours of college level classes from an accredited college
- Child Development Associate (CDA) credentials
- CPR certification
