Job Summary
Head Coach for Breckinridge County Middle School Track program. Organizes and supervises practices; teaches fundamental skills, team play, team strategy, and rules; promotes good sportsmanship and self-control; manages equipment and facilities; verifies participant eligibility including insurance coverage and parent consent; provides positive guidance and supports the health and safety of students; coordinates with school leadership and participates in related duties and events.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Kentucky driver's license
- Has met the requirements for criminal records check and child abuse and neglect check as specified by Kentucky State Law
- A minimum of 64 semester hours from an accredited college or university or passed the paraeducator exam and/or one year of experience coaching in a school athletic program
- Ability to work effectively with students and parents
