Job Summary
Head Coach for Breckinridge County High School softball. Organizes and supervises practices; teaches fundamental softball skills, team play, strategy, and rules; promotes good sportsmanship and self-control; oversees equipment and facilities; verifies participant eligibility and insurance and obtains parent consent; serves as a positive role model and provides guidance to students; supports district goals and attends relevant programs; coordinates with administration and other staff for games and events; requires valid Kentucky driver's license, background checks, and minimum coaching-related experience or education hours.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Kentucky driver's license
- Has met the requirements for criminal records check and child abuse and neglect check as specified by Kentucky State Law
- A minimum of 64 semester hours from an accredited college or university or passed the paraeducator exam and/or one year of experience coaching in a school athletic program
- Ability to work effectively with students and parents
