Job Summary
Assist in organizing and coordinating the Breckinridge County softball program; supervise practices; teach fundamental skills, team play, team strategy, and adherence to KHSAA rules; promote good sportsmanship and self-control; check participant eligibility including insurance coverage and parental consent; provide students with guidance, emotional support, patience, and a positive attitude aligned with the school mission; perform duties related to special athletic events and other tasks as assigned; maintain punctuality and preparedness for events.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Kentucky driver's license
- Meets criminal records check and child abuse and neglect check as specified by Kentucky State Law
- Minimum of 64 semester hours from an accredited college or university, passed the paraeducator exam, or previous school coaching experience
- Ability to work effectively with students and parents
