Job Summary
Conduct diagnostic patient care services using ultrasound and related techniques for routine, vascular, interventional, and non-invasive procedures. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide imaging services including CT scans, PET scans, interventional radiology, digital mammography, and nuclear medicine. Communicate clearly, build relationships to promote collaboration, and take initiative for professional growth while always seeking ways to improve the patient experience. Maintain accountability for performance and demonstrate clinical competency in abdomen, obstetric, and gynecologic, or vascular procedures. Work as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with RVT in a 294-bed acute-care hospital serving North Texas.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved Diagnostic Ultrasound Program
- Current Basic Life Support certification
- RDMS — Abdomen or OB/GYN, must have certification within 1 year from hire date
- In addition to required entry level registries, the sonographer must demonstrate clinical competency in performance of abdomen, obstetric, and gynecologic, or vascular procedures
Desired Qualifications
- 1 year experience preferred
