Job Summary
Academic Breast Surgical Oncology faculty position at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, Division of Breast Surgical Oncology, inviting applications at the ranks of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor for a fellowship-trained, board-certified surgeon. The role involves a high-volume, fully supported practice across a major breast program with potential community-site collaboration, extensive multidisciplinary care (plastic/reconstructive surgery, medical and radiation oncology, genetics counseling, survivorship programs), and leadership opportunities. Responsibilities include clinical breast surgical oncology and complex oncoplastic procedures, image-guided biopsy, access to advanced imaging, and participation in research and education for training future breast surgical oncologists. Compensation includes a base salary of $300,000–$500,000 plus incentive, CME allowance, and comprehensive benefits. Location primarily at the central Pittsburgh campus with Magee-Womens Hospital consideration; potential additional sites. Qualifications include MD or MD/PhD, board-certified or board-eligible in General Surgery, fellowship in breast surgical oncology, and eligibility for Pennsylvania medical licensure; open to applicants at all career stages.
