Job Summary
Perform breast-conserving and reconstructive surgeries while developing individualized treatment plans for cancer patients. Collaborate with oncology, radiology, and primary care teams to deliver patient-centered outcomes in a diverse urban community. Document all care via eClinicalWorks EMR and mentor surgical residents and fellows as applicable. Lead breast surgical services within a collaborative multi-specialty practice with opportunities for oncology program development and academic collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- MD/DO from an accredited institution
- State medical license (or eligible for licensure)
- Board-eligible or board-certified in General Surgery (American Board of Surgery)
- eClinicalWorks EMR proficiency
- Advanced breast surgery procedures
- Multidisciplinary team leadership
- Patient advocacy
Desired Qualifications
- Breast Surgical Oncology fellowship training
- equivalent expertise to Breast Surgical Oncology fellowship training
