Job Summary
Breast Sonographer at Novant Health Breast Center (Winston-Salem, NC) will perform breast imaging procedures including mammography and ultrasound, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care. Requires ARDMS RDMS BR certification, state license, and strong communication and analytical skills; full-time position based in Winston-Salem with responsibilities spanning patient preparation, imaging procedures, and equipment operation.
Required Qualifications
- Certified and registered by ARDMS in Breast Sonography – RDMS,BR, Required
- Prior experience in breast imaging preferred
- Analytical ability, basic computer skills, good communication skills, ability to adapt to procedures based on age of patient, ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age specific needs
- Prepares patient for procedures. Operates mammography and sonography equipment.
