Job Summary
Interpret screening and diagnostic mammography including digital breast tomosynthesis, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI. Perform stereotactic/tomosynthesis, ultrasound, and MRI-guided biopsies as well as needle and RFID localizations. Teach and supervise residents, medical students, and fellows within a collegial team of breast radiologists. Work at two UC Health breast centers, which are double accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers and the American College of Radiology.
Required Qualifications
- Medical degree (MD/DO)
- Ohio and Kentucky medical license
- Four years of post-graduate radiology residency training
- One year of fellowship training in Breast Imaging
- ABR/AOBR certified or eligible
- Prior to the date of appointment: Medical degree (MD/DO)
- Prior to the date of appointment: Ohio and Kentucky medical license
- Prior to the date of appointment: Four years of post-graduate radiology residency training
- Prior to the date of appointment: One year of fellowship training in Breast Imaging
- All applicants must be committed to providing exceptional clinical care and teaching
- Candidates must be comfortable with interpreting screening and diagnostic mammography including digital breast tomosynthesis, as well as breast ultrasound, and breast MRI
- Physicians are expected to perform stereotactic/tomosynthesis, ultrasound, and MRI-guided biopsies as well as needle and RFID localizations
- Duties will also include teaching and supervision of residents, medical students and fellows
- Official academic transcripts will be required at the time of hire
