Job Summary
Breast Imaging Radiologist to perform comprehensive breast evaluations using mammography, ultrasound, MRI, and image-guided biopsies; interpret diagnostic images to guide treatment plans; collaborate with oncologists, surgeons, and pathologists to develop individualized care; conduct rounds and participate in multidisciplinary discussions; educate patients on diagnostic procedures and treatment options; contribute to clinical research and the academic mission through teaching medical students, residents, and fellows; stay current with evolving breast imaging technologies and participate in quality-improvement initiatives; ensure accurate documentation of evaluations and outcomes in line with hospital standards.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Radiology with a fellowship in Breast Imaging
- Strong background in breast imaging modalities (mammography, ultrasound, MRI, image-guided biopsy)
- Clinical expertise and experience in managing breast cancer screenings, diagnostics, and interventional procedures
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary, team-based environment
- Academic interest in clinical research, medical education, and teaching
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient interaction and teamwork
