Job Summary
Open the restaurant each morning, set up meetings or small events, and greet guests warmly while distributing menus. Fill glasses with ice water, answer questions, and suggest menu items. Take food and drink orders, relay special instructions to cooks, and assemble meals on trays. Check back to ensure satisfaction, replenish supplies, remove soiled dishes, and suggest desserts or after-dinner drinks. Verify charges, present bills, handle credit cards, and keep dining areas clean. Advise supervisors of complaints and perform closing duties as assigned. Requires one year of server experience and flexible weekend hours.
