Job Summary
Greet guests upon arrival, take orders, and deliver food and beverages while upselling thoughtfully. Communicate with culinary and front-of-house teams to ensure quality and timing, then handle cash, credit, and room charges accurately. Maintain a tidy dining room, complete side duties for opening and resetting, and follow beverage service and food safety guidelines. Share information about resort amenities, local highlights, and nearby attractions. This role requires early morning shifts, weekends, and holidays, with a preference for previous server experience and Current Serving It Right certification. Applicants must hold a valid Canadian work permit or be legally eligible to work in Canada.
Required Qualifications
- A strong commitment to guest satisfaction and a professional appearance
- Previous experience as a server
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- A flexible schedule, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Current Serving It Right certification or willingness to obtain
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
- Applicants must already have a valid Canadian work permit or be legally eligible to work in Canada
