Job Summary
Take orders and serve food and beverages to guests while ensuring top-notch customer service and professionalism. Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation, arrange settings, and keep tables clean and tidy at all times. Present menus, make suggestions based on guest preferences, and deliver checks to collect payments. Verify guest identification for alcohol consumption and refill condiments and server station supplies. Work two breakfast shifts starting at 6 AM and two evening bartender shifts starting at 5 PM, with weekend availability required. Perform any other duties requested by management to aid hotel operations.
Required Qualifications
- Weekend availability
- Basic knowledge of menu prices, composition of items, preparation techniques, and time of preparation
- Familiarity with daily specials and offers
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, staying on your feet, climbing stairs, carrying heavyweights
- Ability to communicate effectively by writing, telephone and personal meeting situations
- Outgoing, pleasant personality
- Neat appearance
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and Holidays
- Honesty
- Ability to work well with others
- Ability to bend, stretch arms overhead and lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds
- Ability to speak in a clear, understandable voice and hear at a basic level, and understand English
- Completed required brand training program
