Job Summary
Breakfast Restaurant Server provides guest-focused service in the hotel’s restaurant, handling set-up, delivery, and retrieval of food and beverage orders; maintains stocked service space; serves drinks in compliance with company, local, and state guidelines; validates IDs and monitors beverage consumption; follows cash-control procedures for cash, vouchers, inventories, and receivables; cleans and sanitizes tables and surfaces after service; flexible scheduling may be required; Island Hospitality offers formal training and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, PTO, 401(k) matching, employee discounts, and career growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to follow brand and IHM standard operating procedures to prepare food and beverage items
- Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement
- Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary
- Ability to work well in stressful situations
- Ability to extend professionalism and courtesy to guests at all times
