Job Summary
Prepare and consistently maintain the dining area and supplies in a guest-ready atmosphere. Close out shifts by cleaning and restocking for the next day. Ensure guests receive the highest quality product and service while maintaining safety, security, and brand documentation standards. Work as a team member in cleaning, side work, and food preparation. Be flexible regarding schedules, available 24/7, weekends, and holidays to greet guests and ensure meeting satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Honesty and trustworthiness
- Security clearances
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of Menu items and beverage choices
- Knowledge of Standards of operation as required by brand
- Knowledge of Area shopping, dining, entertainment and travel directions to assist guest inquiries
- Knowledge of Daily hotel operations, check daily events, bulletin boards are up to date on changes, new procedures and events
- Knowledge of Entire property, staff, services, hours of operation, type of room, locations, rates, discounts
- Service minded, friendly professional behavior
- Ability to Multi task, remain associate and guest service centric
- Ability to Effectively communicate with guests, department heads, associates and home office support staff
- Ability to Solve guest issues with professionalism maintain hospitable attitude
- Ability to Work as a team member in aspects such as: cleaning, side work, food preparation and storage
- Physical presence at the hotel
- Availability for weekends
- Flexibility in regard to work schedule
- Availability 24/7, weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand, walking for long periods of time while maintaining a friendly professional image
- Ability to push or pull 60 pounds unassisted
- Ability to lift and/or carry 30 pounds unassisted
- Ability to stand for eight hours

- Ability to communicate with other associates and/or guests
- Thorough knowledge of emergency procedures
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in a food and beverage position
- Food Handling certification
