Job Summary
Deliver breakfast food and beverages from the kitchen to guests promptly and accurately, ensuring orders are complete, properly presented, and served at the appropriate temperature. Assist servers with beverage refills, condiments, and guest requests while maintaining cleanliness of food runner stations and dining areas. Clear and reset tables to support efficient service, monitor room needs, and communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff. Follow all food safety and sanitation standards, stock service stations, and report guest comments or complaints to the manager.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be over 18 years of age
- Knowledge of food service practices and guest service standards
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of how to assist customers and meet their needs effectively
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Ability to do basic problem-solving
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work under stressful circumstances
- Ability to quickly adapt to changes in processes, customer flow, environments, and tasks
- Ability to engage with customers in a positive and helpful manner
- Ability to safely carry multiple plates and trays and remain on your feet for extended periods
- Ability to reach, crouch, kneel, stand, walk or be on your feet for extended periods of time
- Regularly work in wet, hot and humid conditions for extended periods of time and may be required to walk on slippery and uneven surfaces
- Must be able to occasionally lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs. individually or with assistance
- Ability to follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department standards while handling food and beverages
- Ability to comply with all policies and procedures for Aspen Hospitality and Aspen One
Desired Qualifications
- Previous food runner, busser, server assistant, or restaurant experience
