Breakfast Cook (Remote Camp)

Job Summary
Prepare and serve all breakfast items daily in accordance with the menu plan and mealtime schedule; assist with hot lunch or secondary meals as needed. Direct and monitor kitchen prep staff when the head cook is not on shift, communicate with the Head Cook for direction on camp numbers, food quality and quantity, and ensure food safety standards are met. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workspace and participate in unloading and storage of grocery deliveries as required. Complete a daily Field Level Hazard Assessment and Hazard Identification document (HID) as needed, and uphold a professional image and conduct at all times. This role requires living in a remote camp environment for up to 4 weeks, night/early-morning shifts (3:00am start), and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs, with travel to transport sites in Edmonton, AB. Qualifications include Recognized Advanced Food Handlers Certificate, Standard First Aid, and minimum 2 years cooking in high volumes; certificate or diploma in Cooking is considered an asset. The position emphasizes food safety, quality, teamwork, and strong English communication and organizational skills.
