Job Summary
Breakfast Cook in remote Nunavut camp responsible for preparing and serving breakfast to high standards, including eggs to order, omelet bar, breakfast specials, and daily inventory; duties include food preparation from scratch, maintaining cleanliness and proper food temperatures, ensuring on-time service, and providing courteous guest service in a fly-in/fly-out camp setting with 3 weeks on/3 weeks off rotations. Requires ability to work in remote northern conditions, pass health and safety requirements, travel to site, and maintain stock and kitchen organization; prior experience in high-volume breakfast service and Food Safe certification are essential, with Red Seal as an asset and government-issued photo ID for travel.
Required Qualifications
- Current Food Safe certificate is required
- Experience providing hot breakfast service in high volumes
- Red Seal or other certifications is an asset
- Must be able to pass Drug and Alcohol and Health Assessment
- Criminal Background Check
