Job Summary
Breakfast Cook responsibilities include preparing a variety of breakfast foods for the Hy-Vee Market Grille, assembling dishes per recipes, and ensuring sanitation and proper hygiene. The role involves providing prompt, friendly customer service, learning menu items, working with team members to maintain a pleasant shopping environment, preparing cooking surfaces and ingredients, and maintaining cleanliness. The position requires knowledge of menu items, ability to follow instructions, and a capability to perform physical tasks (lifting, standing, etc.). Employment is contingent upon a pre-employment drug screen. Education requirement is high school or equivalent; six months or less of relevant experience is expected.
