Job Summary
Prepare breakfast foods, vegetables, sides, and meats for the Hy-Vee Market Grille according to recipes. Assemble dishes, place items in hot cases, and monitor stock levels. Learn customers' names, greet them, and assist with product retrieval or heavy items. Answer telephone inquiries and take guest orders. Ensure the work area remains clean, practice proper sanitation, and adhere to hygiene guidelines. Order supplies when needed and assist in other store areas as required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18+
- High school or equivalent experience
- Six months or less of similar or related work experience
- Must be physically able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally; up to 20 pounds of force frequently; and up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- Vision from less than 20 inches to more than 20 feet with or without correction
- Depth perception
- Color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors)
