Job Summary
Prepare and execute breakfast menu items in line with hotel standards, assist in cooking and presenting breakfast dishes with consistency, ensure breakfast kitchen operations run efficiently before service, maintain cleanliness and food safety across kitchen areas, collaborate with the wider kitchen and Food & Beverage teams to ensure smooth service, follow recipes and portion controls, assist with stock rotation and minimizing food wastage, and support high-volume breakfast service to ensure guest satisfaction; demonstrate attention to detail, teamwork, reliability, and a proactive attitude while working early morning shifts and across a rotating roster in Hobart, Australia.
Required Qualifications
- Previous kitchen/kitchen-hands experience in breakfast or hotel environment preferred
