Job Summary
Assemble the breakfast service before mealtime and disassemble it thereafter, ensuring the service space remains well-stocked. Clear cutlery and crockery from guest tables, receive beverage orders, and direct them to the kitchen as needed. Provide information and assistance to all guests and vendors while cleaning and sanitizing tables, countertops, and floors after each service. Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness throughout the shift. This role requires flexible scheduling based on guest occupancy, season, and staffing needs. Island Hospitality offers a formalized training program with clear growth opportunities for team members.
Required Qualifications
- Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement
- Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary
- Ability to work well in stressful situations
- Readily available and approachable for all guests while providing excellent guest service
- Regularly required to stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time
- Variable number of hours scheduled to work during the week based on guest occupancy, season, staffing and other factors
- Island Hospitality is unable to guarantee a specific number of work hours per week
- Island Hospitality uses E-Verify to confirm work authorization in all municipalities where it is required by law
