Job Summary
Cook and assemble breakfast service before mealtime, then disassemble it afterward. Keep the service space stocked, clear cutlery and crockery from guest tables, and receive beverage orders to direct to the kitchen. Provide information and assistance to all guests and vendors while cleaning and sanitizing tables, countertops, and floors after each service. Maintain high safety and cleanliness standards throughout the shift. Schedule is variable based on guest occupancy, season, and staffing needs. Required Qualifications
- Highly motivated team player with strong initiative and desire for achievement
- Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace including anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary
- Ability to work well in stressful situations
- Readily available and approachable for all guests while providing excellent guest service
- Regularly required to stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time
- Variable scheduling availability based on guest occupancy, season, staffing and other factors
- Island Hospitality is unable to guarantee a specific number of work hours per week
- Island Hospitality uses E-Verify to confirm work authorization in all municipalities where it is required by law
