Job Summary
Monitor and tend the breakfast buffet, ensuring an attractive food presentation and a clean surrounding area. Set up the buffet before guests arrive, displaying food and beverages organized and attractive. Clean the area by wiping, sweeping, or mopping, and set out plates, cups, bowls, utensils, and napkins. Prepare coffee and tea by established standards, keeping juices and perishables chilled or on ice. Frequently check for low food supply and replenish supplies as needed, disposing of used items and leftover food at shift end. Keep daily records of foods used and consumed, ordering additional food and supplies as necessary. Greets guests, accommodates special requests, and responds quickly to ensure satisfaction. Maintain a professional image and follow company policies and procedures.
