Job Summary
Set up and maintain the breakfast buffet, including hot food items, while keeping the area clean, stocked, and sanitized throughout service hours. Respond to guest requests and resolve complaints, ensuring smooth operations and professional service delivery. Manage inventory levels, conduct monthly counts, and restock supplies to meet property ordering guidelines. Clean the breakfast area and kitchen, including washing dishes, tables, and equipment, while adhering to all health, safety, and OSHA procedures. Work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays in a fast-paced environment, lifting up to 35 pounds regularly.
Required Qualifications
- Possess a positive and upbeat personality with a desire to deliver outstanding customer service to our guests
- Maintain a high level of professional appearance and demeanor
- Maintain the highest level of confidentiality in all areas
- Remain available in the breakfast area during posted hours to ensure all guest needs are met
- Ability to communicate with hotel staff, guests, and management in a professional manner
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Read, write and speak English
- Ability to learn safety, emergency, and accident prevention policies and procedures
- Neat, well-groomed appearance including wearing the proper uniform and name tag when working (per brand standards)
- Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds regularly
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
- Complete food service training as required
- High school education
- 1-year hospitality or food service experience (Preferred)
