Breakfast Attendant - Food and Bevarge Department

Job Summary
Stock and maintain the hotel breakfast buffet, ensuring stations remain organized, clean, and ready for service throughout the morning. Set up and break down the breakfast area as needed while promptly cleaning table tops, chairs, and public spaces including the galley and restrooms. Retrieve soiled linens for sorting, manage food and cleaning supply inventory, and communicate restocking or maintenance needs to management. Represent the hotel with professionalism to guests, clients, and the community by adhering to service standards and safety procedures. Work cohesively with co-workers and follow all assigned duties and policies.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in food or service
- Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 40 pounds frequently to assist guests
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to hear, understand and communicate orally and in writing to communicate with staff, vendors and guests a normal in-person and phone conversation
- Ability to bend and twist, push and pull, stoop, and kneel
- Ascend and descend a ladder
- Will be required to work flexible scheduled shifts based on business needs
- Scheduling includes holidays, nights, and weekends depending on hotel events and functions
- Adhere to attendance and reliability standards
