Job Summary
Performs pre-shift side work and ensures buffet setup, temperatures, and presentation of hot and cold items. Maintains clean, stocked stations and coordinates with the kitchen to replenish items for breakfast service. Decorates the buffet as needed, completes assigned side work, and prepares for the next day. Acts as host/hostess to welcome guests, explains menu offerings, answers questions about breakfast and the hotel, and upholds a clean-as-you-go routine to keep the buffet, kitchen, and serving area neat and ready. Works in Hyatt House Los Angeles – University Medical Center, within a hospitality team focused on guest satisfaction and guest experiences.
